The first story in the series “Oleg Verstovsky - Ghost Hunter” is about a reporter who works for the magazine “Paranormal News”. A skeptic and a pragmatist, in any most dangerous situation Oleg does not lose his sense of humor, he tries to get to the bottom of the truth without letting the scammers who use people's craving for the supernatural for unseemly purposes, not a single chance. When, on the instructions of the editor, Oleg comes to a provincial town to write an article about the murders that, according to local residents, are committed by an unusual werewolf - lupan, the reporter is faced with such a concentration of human vices that the werewolf’s atrocities pale in comparison.
