The book about Ernest Hemingway, an iconic figure, the banner of the “lost generation,” was written by his younger brother. Episodes from the life of the writer, who became a hero of the sixties, a poet of overcoming circumstances, a singer of vanishing stoicism, have been conscientiously and thoroughly recreated. Without going into psychological refinements, restrainedly and simply, through quoting letters from his father, mother and older brother, Lester Hemingway managed to translate into reality the somewhat mythologized figure of a big man, whose weaknesses and shortcomings only emphasized the scale of his talent.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
