The twelve-year-old daughter of the famous Berlin psychiatrist Victor Larenz, Josie, disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Four years have passed. The grieving father has gone to an abandoned house on the island. A beautiful stranger, who is tormented by visions, is obsessively seeking his company. A girl appears to her, having disappeared without a trace, just like Josie once did. Victor begins therapy, which increasingly resembles a dramatic interrogation.
