Автор майстерно передає атмосферу напруги та безвиході, що робить читання справжнім випробуванням для нервів. Оповідання "Пам'ять", яке входить до збірки, також варте уваги, адже воно додає контексту та глибини основному сюжету. Щодо перекладу, то хоча в деяких місцях він може бути не зовсім точним, це не заважає загальному сприйняттю книги.
