Taliesin is the first book in the Pendragon saga by English writer Stephen Lawhead. The cycle is based on Celtic legends, subtly woven by the author into real historical events. Since the 90s, S. Lawhead has been considered a recognized master of the fantasy genre. It is impossible to deny the influence of C. Lewis and R. Tolkien on his work, but the writer still managed to find his own original path in literature.

«Талієсин» - це справжня перлина у світі фентезі, яка занурює читача у захоплюючий світ кельтських міфів та легенд. Стівен Лоухед майстерно поєднує реальні історичні події з фантастичними елементами, створюючи унікальну атмосферу, яка захоплює з перших сторінок. Персонажі в книзі прописані дуже детально, їхні переживання та емоції відчуваються на кожній сторінці. Читачі можуть легко відчути себе частиною цієї епічної саги, спостерігаючи за пригодами Талієсіна та його друзів. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою історією та глибокими темами, які піднімаються в книзі. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить фентезі, історію та міфологію!
