Seven brothers are almost like something out of a fairy tale. The youngest is often the smartest and luckiest. Bart Muyart (b. 1964) grew up to become one of the most famous and published Flemish writers. Most often, publishers address his books to children and teenagers, but the author himself believes that he writes without regard to age - for everyone. Brothers is one such book. Every day of childhood under the pen of the author turns into a treasure - be it building a house out of sand, or a visit from a real king, or a ride with seven of us in the back seat of a car, or Christmas morning. Bart Muyart considers the beginning of his creative biography to be 1978, when he first read on the radio your poem. Since then, he has released more than 40 works, began performing them himself on stage, received a dozen awards in Belgium, the Netherlands and other countries and was translated into 21 languages.
