For the first time in Russian, “The Jewels of Eptor” is a novel by one of the most eccentric science fiction writers in America, Samuel Delaney. The winner of numerous literary awards, Delaney is well known to Russian readers for his novels: “Crossing Einstein” (Nebula Award), “Babylon Seventeen” (Nebula Award), “The Fall of the Towers”, “Nova”. The book also includes the story “The Ballad of Beta” two" (Hugo Award, Nebula Award for best story of the year) and "Homo Astrum", as well as the story "Glass" (A. Clark Award and J. Campbell Award for best story of the year).
