Chocolate chip cookies, ice cream in a waffle cone, a kangaroo backpack, windshield wipers, liquid corrector, a space bumper, a computer compiler, luminous paper... Each of these inventions has its own story. The kangaroo backpacks were made in the chicken coop. The liquid corrector was mixed in the kitchen and poured in the garage. Chocolate chip cookies appeared because of a rush, and Patsy Sherman would not have come up with fabric impregnation if she had not dropped a bottle of latex mixture on the floor.
