Автор вдало передає атмосферу Пітсбурга, наповненого магічними істотами та технологічними новинками, а також розкриває глибокі теми дружби, відповідальності та самопізнання. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, безумовно, помітні, загальний сюжет та ідеї книги варті уваги.
