Книга "Ціна слова" занурює читача у світ магії, де кожне слово має свою вагу і наслідки. Автор майстерно передає ідею про те, як необдумані слова можуть призвести до серйозних наслідків, і показує, як молоді маги, сповнені впевненості, намагаються уникнути цих наслідків, але часто зазнають невдачі. Персонажі, зокрема знахарка Іві, викликають співчуття та розуміння, адже їхні клятви і сподівання часто обертаються трагедією. Хоча текст перекладено з використанням штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків, загальна якість перекладу не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом.
