Don DiMarco was fifty-seven when it was discovered that he had cancer and had only twelve months to live. Not wanting to give up, supported by his loving wife, children and grandchildren, he decides, in the time allotted to him, to fulfill unfulfilled dreams and see people with whom, for various reasons, he once lost contact. Despite his increasingly deteriorating condition, he fulfills his plans, rethinking and reevaluating his own life.
