Книга "Іменинниця" - це справжній трилер, який тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Автор майстерно переплітає минуле і сучасність, створюючи атмосферу таємниці та небезпеки. Персонажі, особливо інспектор Еверт Гренс, прописані дуже глибоко, і їхні внутрішні переживання викликають співчуття. Читач відчуває, як спогади про жорстокий злочин переслідують Гренса, і разом з ним намагається розгадати загадки, які виникають на його шляху. Сюжет розвивається стрімко, з безліччю несподіваних поворотів, які роблять читання ще більш захоплюючим.
