The Good, the Bad, the Supernatural is the tenth book in the Dark Side series, written by Simon R. Green and focusing on John Taylor, the main character who works as a private detective and has a talent for finding lost things. Things are going well for John Taylor good, too good. His relationship with Susie Shotgun has moved to the next level, and he has enough money that he can pick and choose cases that he finds interesting, and nothing major has been happening on the Dark Side lately. So something has to change, and when it does, it will be quite unexpected, three unexpected stories for John Taylor. His first job is unusual, even by his standards: Escorting the elf, Lord Scream, through the Dark Side and keeping him safe from everyone: many, many, many, ad nauseum many people and things that would undoubtedly come out of the shadows for the chance to kill an elf. Providing transportation for this little outing is Miss Destiny - a costumed adventurer from the Dark Side. In the second instance, Larry Oblivion talks to John Taylor in "Weird Boys". Larry Oblivion wants John Taylor to find his brother Tommy, who was lost—literally—during Lilith's war. No one, not even John, who searched many times, could find him or the body. Larry Oblivion wants his brother to be found, and he wants him to be found now because his eldest brother, Hadley Oblivion, is now in business, and that's scaring everyone. It appears that Hadley Oblivion is the Dark Side's equivalent of the boogeymen. However, before he can get started, Walker, the Voice of the Authorities that control the Dark Side, talks about health problems, he is looking for a replacement, and he thinks John Taylor would be not a bad candidate - after all, John Taylor is a man whom the entire Dark Side knows, fears and sometimes hates. However, John Taylor doesn't want the job. So, Walker is ready for a lot... This story resolves the issue with the Collector... Dark humor, nightmares and fog are welcome. Book translation: RP55 RP55
