Книга "Натюрморт з Кардінгтон-кресент" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у жанрі детективу. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу загадки та інтриги, занурюючи читача в світ лондонських аристократів, де кожен має свої таємниці. Сюжет розвивається динамічно, і я не міг відірватися від читання, намагаючись самостійно розгадати, хто ж насправді вбив Джорджа Ешворда. Персонажі прописані дуже детально, і їхні мотивації виглядають цілком правдоподібно, що додає реалізму до історії. Особливо мені сподобалася роль Шарлотти та її чоловіка, інспектора Пітта, які стали справжніми детективами у цій заплутаній справі. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно вплинули на загальне враження, книга залишила по собі глибокий слід. Рекомендую всім, хто любить детективи з елементами психологічної драми!
