The book is based on memoirs, diary entries, correspondence and interviews of Anna Alekseevna Kapitsa (1903–1996) - the daughter of the greatest Russian engineer A. N. Krylov and the wife of the outstanding scientist - academician, Nobel Prize laureate Pyotr Leonidovich Kapitsa (1894-1984) .
