Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги та тривоги, коли єпископ Ганніс Арк та імператор Сулачан піднімають армію мертвих, загрожуючи всьому живому. Персонажі, такі як Річард Рал і Келан Амнелл, викликають симпатію та співчуття, адже вони змушені боротися не лише з зовнішніми загрозами, а й з власними внутрішніми демонами. Читання цієї книги - це справжня подорож, що сповнена емоцій, інтриг та несподіваних поворотів.
