The book by the famous screenwriter, winner of the prestigious European Film Academy Award Maria Alexandrovna Khmelik includes the film story “Little Vera” (the film premiered in 1988, starring Natalya Negoda, Andrei Sokolov, Yuri Nazarov) about the tragic love of beautiful young people on against the background of the eternal conflict between fathers and children and “Dark Nights in the City of Sochi” (the film premiered in 1989, and the main roles were Alexey Zharkov, Natalya Negoda, Anastasia Vertinskaya) about the consequences of a chance meeting of desperate people - a successful swindler-schemer Stepanych and a student- losers Lena - in one of the rooms of a luxury hotel in Sochi. In addition, the story “Broken TV” is presented, based on letters from indignant moviegoers after watching “Little Vera.”
