Herbert Berger was born and lived in Vienna. He worked as a journalist for newspapers and radio, and wrote plays for television. He is the author of the collection “Evil Plays” and the novel “Poor Adolf the Communist.” Berger’s theater introduces us to a world that is familiar to the smallest detail, cozy and at the same time macaberian-strange, grotesque, a world in which laughter and fear are inseparable from each other.
