The three-volume “Notes of Your Contemporary” covers almost half a century of the author’s life and is perhaps the most popular work of Yaroslav Golovanov for the widest range of readers, since it contains everything from anecdotes to portraits of celebrities, from space secrets to caustic criticism of the morals of our days. Among the records of those years: climbing the Kamchatka volcanoes, a trip to Japan for the World Exhibition, reflections on the feelings of plants, “aliens”, the Bermuda Triangle, the mysterious African Dagon tribe, the Nessie monster, a flight to Singapore and the Philippine Islands, a tour of US scientific centers, the beginning of travel through the lands of the Non-Black Earth Region, reports from Houston during the flights of Russians and Americans under the Soyuz - Apollo program, continuation of work on the main book “Korolev. Facts and Myths" and hundreds of other, most diverse and unexpected notes, facts, observations, quotes.
