Sveta Lykova came to a small publishing house with a secret dream: to create a series of women's novels. Not sentimental crafts with stilted characters and far-fetched situations, designed for bored, narrow-minded slackers. In the publishing pipeline she will find talented authors writing about the lives of smart and modern young women, such as Sveta herself. Sveta set to work with enthusiasm and very soon found three female writers. Conventionally, she called them “housewife”, “intellectual” and “woman”, and in each of the three Lights she recognized some of her own character traits.
