Грегор Ейзенхорн - це персонаж, який вражає своєю стійкістю та рішучістю, і його боротьба з демонами та зрадниками інквізиції тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Автор майстерно описує атмосферу безнадії та небезпеки, в якій живе Ейзенхорн, а також його стосунки з помічниками, які додають глибини сюжету. Хоча переклад тексту не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючою історією та динамічними діалогами.
