This book is something of a milestone in the literary history of Doctor Who, in that it is the first collection of stories to be published. And instead of presenting just a collection, we tried to make it even more unusual by uniting the stories with a connecting plot (some readers will be familiar with this idea from old horror films like “Dead of Night”). This means that while it is possible to experience the Decalogue by reading the stories individually, readers who read the book from start to finish will get more out of it. The collection is edited by Mark Stammers and Stephen James Walker.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
