Petronius Guy Amatuni is a wonderful children's writer, whose name has been undeservedly forgotten by modern readers, although during the years of all-Union fame he was rightly compared with the famous Frenchman Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. A pilot by profession, Amatuni created many stories and fairy tales for children, science fiction novels, and essays on aviation.
