Author’s note: Attention, read after the seventh volume of the main line, that is, after “Horizon Line”! A small sideline from the main story of Eriminum. Автор майстерно переносить нас у суворий світ північного моря, де холод і небезпеки стають невід'ємною частиною життя героїв. Читач відчуває атмосферу фортеці Крестейр, де кожен день - це боротьба за виживання, а кровопролиття стає звичним явищем. Історія про одного з героїв, який народжується в цих жорстоких умовах, наповнена емоціями, відвагою та надією. Важливо зазначити, що книга рекомендується читати після "Лінії Горизонту", оскільки вона розширює вже знайомий світ і надає нові грані розуміння подій. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на сприйняття тексту, загальна якість оповіді та глибина сюжету роблять цю книгу справжнім шедевром.
