Private detective Tatyana Ivanova makes a business date with a friend at the Vostorg bar, not imagining how this event, started out of boredom, will turn out. In the bar, with the help of Alla, she meets Arkady Tregubov, a retired lieutenant colonel and the owner of a kennel where watchdogs are raised. Then Tatyana makes acquaintance with Tregubov's friends - Larik and Olga Borisov. After two days, Olga Borisova turns to Ivanova with a request to help find her husband: after that very party, having quarreled with his wife, Larik went to his possessions - greenhouses located next to Tregubov's nursery - and disappeared...
