Gonzaga Saint-Brie, French journalist, historian and novelist , author of more than 30 books: novels, essays, biographies. Born in 1948. He grew up in the castle of Clos Luce, in Amboise. Without having a single diploma, he became a writer and journalist. He worked for the Le Figaro newspaper, as a presenter at an independent radio station, as a video reviewer, as director of enterprise development for the Hachette Filipacchi Médias group, and as director of Femme magazine. Among Gonzaga Saint-Bris's books are biographies of Vigny, Dumas, Balzac, Flaubert, and Lafayette. Gonzaga Saint-Brie is the winner of one of the most prestigious literary awards in France - the Prix Interallié. The novel Da Vinci's Child was awarded the Prix des Romancières at the Saint-Louis Book Fair.
