Emperor Alexander I, undoubtedly, it is possible to name the most enigmatic and contradictory figure among the Russian sovereigns of XIX of century. Republican on persuasions, he the fourth of century was occupied by the Russian throne. Читаючи цей твір, я відчувала себе свідком історичних подій, що розгорталися переді моїми очима. Автор майстерно вдалося відтворити атмосферу того часу, розкриваючи суперечливість та загадковість фігури Олександра I. Його роль у перемозі над Наполеоном та визволенні Європи вражає своєю величчю, але одночасно автор не боїться показати його людську сторону з усіма вадами та слабкостями. Ця книга - це не лише розкриття історичних фактів, а й глибоке відчуття душі героя, яке залишається з читачем надовго після закінчення читання. Рекомендую цей шедевр усім, хто цікавиться історією та бажає розкрити таємниці минулого!
