Хоча в енциклопедії присутні ідеологічні нюанси, це не зменшує її значення як джерела інформації. Якість наукової та редакційної роботи вражає, і багато статей досі залишаються актуальними. Переклад, хоча й має деякі недоліки, все ж таки дозволяє насолоджуватися цим шедевром. Я рекомендую цю енциклопедію всім, хто цікавиться історією та наукою, адже вона є унікальним свідченням радянського культурного спадку.
