Автор ставить важливі запитання про те, чому деякі злочини здійснюються в групах, а інші — індивідуально, і як натовп може впливати на поведінку особи. Книга не лише інформативна, але й провокує на роздуми, змушуючи читача замислитися над етикою і мораллю в суспільстві.
