Книга "Резервіст" вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Автор майстерно передає відчуття втрати, але водночас відкриває нові горизонти для своїх героїв. Сюжет розгортається навколо теми родинних зв'язків, дружби та готовності боротися за те, що дійсно важливо. Світ, в якому живуть персонажі, наповнений небезпеками, але також і можливостями для зростання та розвитку. Особливо вражає, як автор показує, що справжня сміливість полягає не лише в умінні тримати зброю, а й у готовності підтримувати один одного, незважаючи на різницю у національності чи кольорі шкіри. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, загальна якість написання та емоційна насиченість компенсують це.
