The greatest poet, prose writer, playwright, theater theorist and publicist, Fyodor Sologub (1863–1927), over more than forty years of creative activity, left an extensive literary heritage, most of which remains unpublished. This collection includes his poems from 1878–1927, the drama “The Poisoned Garden,” “Aphorisms,” and the treatise “Dignity and Measure of Things.” The biographical section is presented by a complex of texts characterizing the relationship between Sologub and his wife An. N. Chebotarevskaya, memories of the writer and other materials.
