The history of the media during the Patriotic War of the people of Abkhazia (1992–1993) has preserved many examples of how correspondents - citizens of Abkhazia or those who came from Russia - shared with the soldiers all the dangers of front-line life, walked under fire, participated in landing operations, went on the attack. This behavior was not always dictated by the direct fulfillment of an editorial task. The measure of their actions were other laws - the laws of the front-line Partnership, the laws of conscience. During the war in Abkhazia, 15 people died, whose activities were in one way or another connected with the media. This book is dedicated to their memory and, above all, about them.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
