Life in the Susanin house has gone awry. Vasilisa’s wife took on a lover, and Polina’s daughter’s friend stole her husband Roman. The head of the family, Pyotr Petrovich, and his quite worthy daughter conspired to help each other and were seriously considering a plan to eliminate the homewreckers. But, apparently, the insidious seducers were not asleep, because as a result they killed... Polina herself. At the crime scene they found the earring of the older sister of the same friend who fought off Roman. It would seem that the case can be closed? But everything is too simple, and therefore very suspicious...
