A carnival is being prepared in Key West, a city of vacationers and tourists. Katie O'Hara, the owner of a bar and a museum of outlandish exhibits similar to Madame Tussauds, is inspired: she expects an influx of visitors. But then the unexpected happens: a female corpse is discovered in one of the compositions in the museum. Katie and her friends are in a panic. The ongoing police investigation is proceeding as usual, but so far there are more questions than answers.
