Twenty-two years ago, Sam and Dean Winchester lost their mother, who was killed by a mysterious evil force. As they grew up, their father told them about demons that lurk in the dark and roam the country roads of America. He also told them how to deal with them... Alarmed by the news of strange events taking place in Clayton Falls, Colorado, Bobby sends Sam and Dean to investigate the situation. A fast car speeds down the road without a driver, a homeless man is chased by a monster, a little boy is attacked by trees without roots - all this resembles a nightmare. The Winchester brothers are ready to face nightmares, but sometimes bad dreams stay with you, even if you are already awake... The book takes place during the sixth season of the series, between the episodes "One Cowboy, Two Cowboys" and "Mommy Dearest."

Книга "Нічний жах" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі літератури жахів. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги та страху, занурюючи читача у світ братів Вінчестерів, які борються з темними силами. Сюжет захоплює з перших сторінок: таємничі події в Клейтон-Фоллз, жахливі монстри та незвичайні ситуації, які переживають герої, тримають у напрузі до самого кінця. Особливо вразила глибина персонажів: їхні страхи, переживання та стосунки між собою розкриваються на фоні жахливих подій, що робить їх ще більш реалістичними. Хоча переклад тексту не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить жахи, пригоди та незвичайні сюжети!
