Ця книга "Коли струменить оксамит" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям! Сюжет про молодого дворянина Адама де Лейсі, який бореться за серце своєї зведеної сестри Хельвен, захоплює з перших сторінок. Автор майстерно переплітає теми кохання, зради та політичних інтриг, створюючи атмосферу, в якій читач відчуває себе частиною епохи. Характеристика персонажів глибока і багатогранна, особливо Адам, який втілює в собі мужність і відданість. Незважаючи на те, що переклад тексту здійснювався за допомогою штучного інтелекту, я не помітила значних недоліків, які б заважали сприйняттю історії. Книга залишає по собі теплі емоції і спонукає до роздумів про вірність і справжні почуття. Рекомендую всім, хто любить романтичні історії з елементами драми та історії!
