Dmitry Deitch's new book brings together what has been written over the past ten years. Stories, novellas, parables, fairy tales and essays do not exhaust its genre diversity. “Winter in Tel Aviv” could be called the experience of a laconic epic, and “Notes on the Awakening of the Awake” - a documentary guide to the world of dreams. The cycle “Preludes and Fantasies” includes texts that are difficult to identify by genre: what they have in common is that they are all written based on musical works. The author's collection "Toys" resembles a novel of education, reimagined in the spirit of Monty Python, and "Griffith's Space" follows the tradition of short prose by Cortazar, Chevilard and Calvino. A significant part of the texts is published for the first time.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.

Вражаюча збірка, що розширює межі жанру!
Книга "Прелюдії та фантазії" Дмитра Дейча - це справжній калейдоскоп літературних форм, що вражає своєю різноманітністю та глибиною. Автор майстерно поєднує розповіді, новели, притчі та есе, створюючи унікальний літературний простір, в якому кожен текст є окремою подорожжю. Особливо вразила "Зима в Тель-Авіві", яка стала для мене справжнім відкриттям, адже її лаконічність та епічність переплітаються в неймовірний спосіб. Також варто відзначити "Записки про пробудження не сплять", які занурюють читача у світ сновидінь, змушуючи замислитися про межі реальності. Хоча деякі тексти публікуються вперше, їхній рівень не поступається вже відомим роботам автора. Єдиним недоліком, на мій погляд, є не завжди якісний переклад, але це не зменшує загального враження від книги. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує літературу, що виходить за межі звичних жанрових рамок!
