Книга "Про що мовчать риби" - це справжній скарб для всіх, хто цікавиться морським життям і біологією. Хелен Скейлс майстерно описує не лише звичайнісіньких, але й загадкових морських істот, розкриваючи їхні неймовірні здібності та соціальні взаємодії. Читання цієї книги стало для мене справжнім відкриттям: я дізнався, що риби можуть вирішувати складні логічні завдання, мають свій соціальний інтелект і здатні на співпрацю. Це абсолютно змінює уявлення про їхнє життя під водою, яке, як виявляється, є набагато складнішим і цікавішим, ніж ми звикли думати. Книга написана доступною мовою, що робить її зрозумілою навіть для тих, хто не є фахівцем у цій галузі. Єдине, що трохи заважає повному зануренню в текст - це деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, на жаль, іноді зустрічаються. Проте це не зменшує загального враження від книги.
