The action of this novel takes place on Earth - in our time and in the future, as well as in a parallel world. Far-reaching technological progress ultimately led to the emergence of dead, machine life, completely alien to man. There was no robot rebellion, no supercomputer seized power - simply revived things began to gradually take over human living space. The so-called “Void People” (a special type of powerful psychics) are trying to save the rapidly declining population of the Earth. They begin to transport people to a parallel world. But it soon becomes clear that in this world people lose their memory, gaining immortality in return. However, a certain particle of the human soul responsible for physical death (“necroid”) remains on Earth. And soon the so-called “Necrosphere” will form around the Earth - the embryo of Hell on Earth. The necrosphere begins to change the surrounding reality, destroying time and space, seeking to take possession of the Earth forever... The main character of the novel, the immortal gladiator Marcellus, eventually regains his memory. He learns that he is a former Void, and with the help of his reincarnations, which he can partially influence, he tries to change the history of the Earth...
