Автор майстерно поєднує елементи трилера з глибоким психологічним аналізом персонажів, що робить сюжет надзвичайно захоплюючим. Історія про зниклого комісара та загадкову жіночу ногу, знайдену в місті, де панують самотні чоловіки, тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Особливо вразила динаміка між детективом Енн Лінделл та ветераном поліції, адже їхнє співробітництво виявляється не лише професійним, а й особистісним. Хоча в тексті є деякі недоліки перекладу, вони не заважають загальному сприйняттю книги. Рекомендую всім, хто любить інтригуючі сюжети з несподіваними поворотами!
