Rick was born and raised in the Omicron Commune, a closed space beyond the walls of which there is only darkness and monsters. The patron of people is the god of the Machine, their life is full of mortal dangers and trials. But after moving to the third level of life, Rick finds out that the priests are lying. The Commune is not the only community of people, and Omicron is only one of many sectors of Thermopolis, a high-tech world created by the mind and hands of man. Rick flees the Commune to find and turn on the mysterious generator that gives his world energy.

Вражаюча подорож у світ технологій та ілюзій!
Книга "Цитадель" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу замкнутого світу Комун Омікрона, де Рік, головний герой, намагається знайти правду про своє існування та навколишній світ. Його подорож від темряви до світла, від невіри до відкриттів, змушує читача замислитися над глибокими питаннями про свободу, правду та маніпуляцію. Технологічний аспект сюжету, зокрема роль бога Машини, додає інтриги та сучасності. Незважаючи на те, що текст перекладено з використанням штучного інтелекту, я вважаю, що це не заважає загальному враженню від книги. Деколи зустрічаються не зовсім коректні фрази, але це не зменшує цінності історії. Рекомендую "Цитадель" усім, хто любить наукову фантастику, адже ця книга залишить вас з безліччю думок і емоцій на довгий час!
