The book tells about the life and work of the famous Russian artist, a woman of amazing destiny, Zinaida Serebryakova. A representative of the illustrious dynasty of Benoit - Lancer - Serebryakov, she declared herself early and brightly and became a faithful successor of the family traditions. In addition to well-known works, the publication uses unique materials from the family archive, previously unpublished works, rare self-portraits, canvases from auction houses, private collections and small museums, as well as fragments of personal correspondence of the artist, her friends and family members.
