Книга "Зникла наречена" вражає своїм оригінальним підходом до жанру детективу, в якому головними героїнями виступають сестри Бронте. Автор вдало поєднує елементи трилера з соціальною критикою, показуючи, як жінки в епоху, коли їх роль у суспільстві була обмежена, намагаються знайти своє місце та голос. Сюжет наповнений інтригами, несподіваними поворотами та глибокими емоціями, що робить читання надзвичайно захоплюючим. Я була вражена, як автор зумів передати атмосферу часу та місця, а також показати, як сестри Бронте, незважаючи на всі труднощі, стають справжніми детективами. Хоча в тексті зустрічаються деякі недоліки перекладу, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить детективи та історії про сильних жінок!
