Earth, early 22nd century. The economy of a global consumer society, long suffering from many problems, one day collapsed, giving rise first to a severe crisis and then to a global war. Humanity has entered the autumn season of its life, slowly fading away on an exhausted planet. In place of the former Russia, a state has been preserved, which all free nations call nothing less than the “Evil Empire.” Its rulers are trying to realize humanity's last chance for life and development by investing the remaining resources in a large-scale space program. An ordinary guy, Ilya, was made a strange offer: to give up part of his soul and mind in order to become one with two genetically engineered combat biorobots - sympathizers.
