Історія Джіні Лонг, яка була звинувачена у вбивстві, і нові докази, що свідчать про її невинність, створюють захоплюючий сюжет, який тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Автор майстерно розкриває характери персонажів, показуючи, як їхнє минуле впливає на їхнє сьогодення. Читачі разом з Вірою занурюються в таємниці кожного з жителів села Елвет, і це створює атмосферу невизначеності та страху. Напруга наростає, і ви не можете відірватися від сторінок, поки не дізнаєтеся правду.
