The first biography of the artist, student of L. Bakst and K. Petrov-Vodkin at the St. Petersburg art school E. N. Zvantseva, author of lifetime portraits of Marina Tsvetaeva and Vladimir Nabokov. Magda Nachman lived in Russia during the Silver Age, two revolutions of 1917 and the Civil War.
