A fairy tale about the eternal struggle between good and evil. Personifying good forces, the Venetian Lorenzo, who took the guise of the boy Vasya, meets a girl named Iva. A friendship arises between them, which develops into love. But then the embodiment of evil appears, namely the wizard Verlioka in the form of a clerical employee named Pescherikov, who begins to court Willow, although unsuccessfully. Iva and Vasya decide to get married and go on their honeymoon. On the way, Pescherikov kidnaps Iva, and Vasya goes in search of her.
