"Two Souls" is a novel by the famous Ukrainian writer Maksym Gorky, which is permeated with social and philosophical issues. In this book, the author reveals the relationship between the two main characters - worker Andrii Shtirlits and journalist Alexander Kalygin, who represent two different philosophies of life. The main theme of the work is the human struggle for freedom, justice and dignity. Interweaving realistic scenes with philosophical reflections, M. Gorky created a masterpiece that leaves the reader in awe and gives him confidence in the justice of his own aspirations and ideals.
