Цей остросюжетний роман став для мене справжнім відкриттям! Автор майстерно передає атмосферу 30—40-х років, занурюючи читача у закулісне життя Голлівуду, де переплітаються долі продюсерів, акторів та представників мафії. Особливо вразили персонажі: Джозеф Найт, Кейт Гамільтон та Ів Сінклер – їхні складні стосунки та боротьба за славу створюють напружений сюжет, який не відпускає до останньої сторінки. Книга змушує задуматися про ціну успіху та слави, а також про те, як легко можна втратити все, що маєш. Хоча в тексті іноді трапляються недоліки перекладу, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться історією кіно та хоче дізнатися більше про темні сторони Голлівуду!
