Книга "Міттельшпіль" є неймовірним продовженням "Першого Імператора", що захоплює читача з перших сторінок. Автор майстерно розвиває сюжет, вводячи нові персонажі та інтригуючі повороти, які тримають у напрузі до самого фіналу. Шахова метафора, що лежить в основі назви, чудово відображає розвиток подій, де кожен хід має значення, а стратегія стає ключовим елементом не лише в грі, а й у житті героїв. Незважаючи на те, що переклад тексту здійснювався за допомогою штучного інтелекту, якість більшості фраз вражає, хоча іноді трапляються незначні неточності. Це не заважає загальному сприйняттю твору, адже він сповнений глибоких думок і емоцій. Чекаю з нетерпінням на третю частину! Рекомендую всім шанувальникам інтелектуальних романів та шахів!
